Mr. Selorm Adadevoh is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN Ghana.
Prior to taking up the MTN Ghana CEO appointment, Selorm was the CEO of Digicel and based in Haiti, which is Digicel Groups largest market. He managed a team of 1,200 employees across the country and had 10 direct reports. Selorm grew the business’s subscriber base to 75% market share in Haiti. Prior to that he held the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the same company. He was also the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Head of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) for Millicom (Tigo) Ghana.
Selorm brings a wide-ranging skillset to his new role with MTN, including experience in the technology industry where he has leveraged technology innovation to drive P&L / EBITDA improvement. His experience spans Africa, Caribbean, Central America, Europe and U.S.A.
He is an alumni of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Thomas Motlepa is the Chief Technical Officer with the responsibility of managing MTN Ghana’s network, establishing and implementing its technology vision and strategies.
Thomas Motlepa has vast experience in Technology, Networks, Project Management and Information System. He has over 17 years working experience, having worked in various capacities as a telecoms engineer with MTN Zambia ,Iran, Cameroon, and Nigeria which has the largest Network in Africa and Middle East.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Motlepa held various management positions in four MTN operating countries –Zambia, Iran ,Cameroon and Nigeria, including Chief Technical Officer, General Manager Planning, Senior Manager Planning spanning -Network Operations, Network Access ,Network Planning and Optimization. Prior to joining MTN, Thomas worked with Ericsson SA, Telkom SA and SABC.
Through his career, Mr. Motlepa has also chalked several successes some of which include the deployment of 2100km of fibre in one year, maintaining No 1 Network in NPS since 2014, leading the team to attain some firsts which include First in the MTN Group to comply with the P10 concept and another first in testing the 4.5G in Zambia.
In Iran and Cameroon, Thomas was instrumental in the implementation of Managed Services and within three years put in place a switching capacity to support 50million subscribers and HLR capacity to support 80million subscribers, a major and significant achievement. He also worked to achieve a full integration of Msc Blade Cluster and high density BSC in Yaounde.
Amma is the Human Resources Executive for MTN Ghana responsible for managing, creating, communicating, and implementing the people/human capital strategies required to achieve MTN Ghana’s Companywide vision, mission and overall direction with a long term view.
Her responsibilities include but are not limited to Change management, Human capital planning & budgeting, talent acquisition and management. Her role also makes her responsible for People improvement initiatives such as performance management, policy development, organizational design and development, talent profiling and management, reward structuring and strategies, culture, industrial and employee relations.
She is experienced in managing a very strong industrial relations and unionised environment. She manages a Division with 4 Senior Managers and 3 Managers and a staff complement of 22 who collectively are responsible for the people strategy and management of the total staff base ( Permanent and contract emplyees). She has strong strategic capabilities and execeptional people management skills.
Amma holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana , an MBA from the William Morris Business School, Coventry University, a Post graduate qualification in Strategic Mangement from the Columbia Executive Education programmes and an alumini of the prestigious MTN Global Advancement Programme(GAP).
A product of Wesley Girls High School & the University of Ghana Business School. Jemima also holds an MA in Human Resource Development and Consulting from the Management School, Lancaster University, UK.
She has vast experience in the field of customer service and until her current appointment she was the Senior Manager for Quality Assurance and Training/Customer Care Division.
Jemima was instrumental in fuelling the growth of the company in recent years through her contribution to the implementation of various mechanisms to seek customer feedback and insight. She implemented the Customer Panel as well as the Voice of the Customer Programs (VOC). She also institutionalized an incentive scheme for the staff in the Customer Care Division and set up the Quality Function comprising, the Monitoring, Training, Complaints and Customer Intelligence Units.
Jemima is responsible for directing and executing customer related issues in the organization at a strategic level. As Customer Relations Executive for MTN Ghana, Jemima is responsible for providing strategic direction while ensuring MTN Ghana evolves into Ghana’s leading customer service organization through consistent focus on activities and behaviours which influence positive customer experiences and overall improvement of business performance.
William holds an MBA in Project Management. William Tetteh is a highly skilled and ambitious Telecom’s professional with an excellent academic record and enviable background in complex Technical analysis and Project Management.
He is currently the General Manager, Capital Projects for MTN Ghana responsible for the development of strategy and operation support for the Capital Projects Group function and ensures effective governance and execution of Projects managed by the Division on behalf of the organization to meet Business Plan objectives.
He manages a Division with 3 Senior Managers and 12 Managers and a staff complement of over 50 people. He has excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, enjoys leading, motivating and being part of a productive team.
William possesses exemplary planning and problem resolution skills, and thrives on working in a pressurized and challenging environment, remaining calm, effective and prioritizing with skill and ease.
He studied Management, University of Ghana, Legon Accra-Ghana, an MSc Telecommunication Engineering, Ghana Telecom University College, Accra-Ghana and BSc Physics, University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana.
Sam Addo is the General Manager for MTN Business
He is responsible for Business Sales, ICT Sales and Business Development, Business Sales Operations and Support. Until his new appointment, Sam Addo was the General Manager in charge of Distributive Trade and Regional Sales - Southern Ghana, in the Sales and Distribution Division of MTN Ghana.
He was responsible for administrative leadership for all the functions in the Southern Ghana Business Unit, including Western, Central, Eastern and Volta regions.
Before joining MTN in 2008, Sam Addo had worked for 13 years with Unilever where he acquired extensive local and international experience in sales leadership. Sam Addo Holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Ghana and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK.
Mr. Samuel Koranteng is the Corporate Services Executive for MTN Ghana. Mr Koranteng joined MTN in July 2013 as Lead Specialist Regulatory Affairs. Prior to Mr. Koranteng’s appointment, he was the Senior Manager for Regulatory and Compliance Affairs, a role he has held since April 2015.
Mr. Koranteng has been instrumental in providing strategic regulatory advice to MTN Ghana and ensures the company continues to meet its regulatory obligations. He contributed heavily towards the application for renewal of the International Gateway License, acquisition of the Fixed Access License, 800MHz license auction, MTN Ghana's 4G license, number resource and special numbering resource applications, amongst others.
His adept stakeholder management both internal and external has provided MTN Ghana a good leverage with relevant industry regulators. Samuel Koranteng will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for MTN Ghana's Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Legal and Company Secretariat, MTN Foundation and Corporate Communications departments.
Samuel Koranteng is an alumnus of the University of Ghana and called to the Ghana Bar in 1988.
Eric Yaw Nsarkoh is the Sales and Distribution Executive of MTN Ghana, responsible for developing and providing strategic vision and direction for the Sales & Distribution Division.
Prior to his appointment as Sales & Distribution Executive, Eric was the General Manager for MTN Business, where he was responsible for leading the Business Solutions team to deliver innovative, robust and cost effective Enterprise services and solutions to large, medium sized and small businesses.
Eric joined MTN Ghana in September 2011 with Senior Management experience, exposure and a track record in sales, trade marketing, MIS, IT, governance controls/audit and consulting across various industries.
He joined MTN from Airtel where he was the IT Director. Prior to this, Eric worked in Senior Management roles in both IT and Commercial environments with Millicom International (TIGO), Discoverytel Ghana, Heineken International, British American Tobacco, KPMG and Price Water House Coopers.
Eric holds a BSc. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and an MBA (Management Information Systems Option) from Vrije Universiteir Brussel, Brussels, Belgium.
Modupe Kadri is the Chief Financial Officer for MTN Ghana. He spent most of his seven-year career at MTN Nigeria as General Manager of Financial Operations, advising the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and stakeholders on business operations. Most recently, Modupe held the position of General Manager for Financial Planning in MTN Nigeria. Prior to his appointment in Ghana, he was the acting Chief Financial Officer at MTN Nigeria for a three month period.
Modupe Kadri holds a Bsc (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Lagos and also holds a Master’s degree in Management from the same institution. He started his professional career where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the firm PricewaterhouseCoopers spanning a period of 11 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also an alumnus of both INSEAD and Columbia Business Schools.
Mr. Eli Hini is the General Manager for Mobile Financial Services (MFS) for MTN Ghana.
Prior to Eli’s appointment, he was the Mobile Money Commercial Senior Manager, a role he has held since August 2008 within the Mobile Money, Sales & Distribution and Enterprise Business Unit.
He has been instrumental in setting up Mobile Money in Ghana and growing the subscriber base, transaction volumes and value. He also led the MTN Ghana team to receive ISO certification (ISO/IEC 12007: 2013 certification) in 2016. With his new appointment, Eli Hini is expected to drive strategy, business development, innovation and relevant operations of MTN’s Mobile Money business.
Eli Hini is a Chartered Marketer with over 17 years’ experience serving in various leadership positions in MTN Ghana, Unilever Ghana Limited and Coca-Cola Bottling Company Limited. Prior to his appointment as General Manager for MFS, he was the Commercial Senior Manager for MTN Mobile Money, a role he held from August 2008. He has been instrumental in setting up Mobile Money in Ghana and growing the subscriber base, transaction volumes and value.
Eli Hini holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a postgraduate qualification from GIMPA.
Didier Sala-Diakanda is the General Manager for MTN Ghana’s Business Risk Management Division.
Didier joined MTN Ghana from MTN Guinea Conakry, where he was Head of Business Risk and Corporate Affairs. He also worked with Group Business Risk Management in South Africa for nine months.
Didier joined MTN from Warid Telecommunication Cote d’Ivoire, where he was the Deputy CFO. Prior to this, he worked for five years as Regional Financial Controller for Celtel International/Airtel Group with direct Financial and Internal Controls responsibility for the seven francophone operating companies of Airtel across Africa.
Didier starter his career with PriceWaterHouseCoopers, where he worked for seven years, performing and managing external audit and advisory assignments across Central African countries and France.
Didier holds a Masters in Finance and Accounting and a Degree in Management and Economics from the Catholic University of Central Africa. He is also a graduate of the Witwatersrand Business School in South Africa.
Noel’s career with MTN Ghana started in May 2012 as the General Manager Consumer Marketing and he has been instrumental in providing commercial leadership and positioning the MTN brand both in this role and in CMO acting roles.
In his time with MTN Ghana, he is credited with successfully delivering a wide variety of projects that have positively impacted business performance over the years. Under his stewardship the business has seen and continues to witness positive growth and performance.
Prior to joining MTN Ghana, Noel worked in several Marketing roles with SABMiller Ghana and Group Office in South Africa. Noel is a chartered Marketer and holds an MBA in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Noel will be responsible for providing strategic commercial direction that will unlock profitability and growth opportunities from our changing customer needs and behavior for our products and services across the voice, non-voice and adjacent businesses for revenue generation.
Bernard is the Chief Information Officer in charge of MTN Information Technology systems. He has worked in senior IT roles with various industries including Banking, Logistics, Insurance and Consulting in Ghana and the UK and some selected European markets.
Bernard brings on board significant experience in Technology and Finance / Banking related roles from his time at Citigroup, Credit Suisse, UT Holdings, WestLB AG, Goldman Sachs, Mint Global and Abbey National, in addition to his 6+ years at Vodafone Ghana.
He is an alumni of Kingston University, UK where he studied Computer Science and City University Business School, UK where he pursued an MBA in Finance.
He is also a fellow of the British Computer Society, a chartered IT Professional, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner.
